I received my training from the Internationally recognised David Wayte of Jubilee College, David was the first Reflexologist in the UK to become a member of The Royal Society of Medicine.
The qualification framework sector that this level is assigned to is ‘Nursing, Subjects and Vocations Allied to Medicine’ and is therefore recognised by the NHS, as well as employers, the UK government and private healthcare insurance companies.
I have also taken further specialised training, qualifying in 'Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD)' and 'Reflexology for Menopause'.
'Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage' is a ground breaking and multi-award winning technique, which can be used to help reduce lymphoedema after treatment for breast cancer. RLD is also useful for clients with other (non-cancer related) more common conditions.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and I am bound by their Code of Practice and Ethics. Click here for further details about the AoR.
I am also registered with the CNHC which demonstrates to the general public and other healthcare providers that I conform to UK-wide standards of practice in my work. Click here for further details about the CNHC.
CNHC registration is recognised by a number of private health cash plan providers which means you may be able claim for reimbursement of your Reflexology treatment.
